Frequently Asked Questions

What type of clients do you serve?

We primarily work with individuals navigating the effects of trauma, attachment concerns, and/or those who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+. Although, we do have experience working with a variety of different concerns. Take a look at the “meet your therapist” page to view Carly’s experiences, or book a free consult through our booking link to learn more!

How do I get started?

Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or schedule a call through our booking link—we’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

What makes you different?

We recognize human connection and building safety as the number one priority. We simply cannot explore the deeper parts of yourself without it. Additionally, I show up as my authentic, warm, witty self, and I encourage you to do the same :)

How do I know if trauma or attachment therapy is right for me?

Do you continually end up in unhealthy or toxic relationships? Do you find it hard to remain present throughout your day, experience brain fog, and/or seem to have reactions that feel disproportionate to what you’re reacting to? Maybe you feel on edge constantly and find it hard to turn your brain off. Have you been told that you’re self-aware, yet you can’t put your learned tools in place to make your life better? Have you tried therapy before and didn’t notice long-term results? If you answered yes to any of the questions above, trauma and attachment therapy is likely right for you!

How do I know if virtual therapy is a good fit for me?

People often worry about virtual therapy feeling too distant or lacking connection with their therapist. You would be surprised how many people try virtual therapy and notice that they feel just as connected to their therapist as they would in person! It’s also extremely convenient— you can do it from the comfort of your own bed, in your PJ’s and save on gas money (which we all know is beneficial in this economy). Just be sure that you have stable internet connection and a confidential space where you can speak freely.

What if I can’t afford paying the full-rate for sessions?

We get it.. therapy is expensive… hell, life is expensive! Ask your therapist about their sliding scale availability to receive reduced-cost sessions as low as $75/session.
